TRAINER/LIGHT ATTACK AIRCRAFT
T-6 Texan II
_The Hawker Beechcraft T-6 Texan II is a single-turboprop engine, tandem two-seat primary trainer designed to train students in basic flying skills common to US Air Force (USAF) and US Navy pilots. The T-6 Texan II derived from the Raytheon's Beech/Pilatus PC-9 Mk II turboprop trainer. The United States Joint Services awarded the Joint Primary Aircraft Training System (JPATS) contract to Raytheon (now Hawker Beechcraft Corporation) in 1996. The T-6A Texan II achieved initial operational capability as a training system in 2001.
The JPATS system includes the Texan II aircraft, a suite of simulators, training devices, and a training integration management system. The Beechcraft T-6B truborpop is an improved version of the T-6A aircraft featuring an open architecture advanced avionics suite that reflects font-line fighter trends: Head-Up Display (HUD), Up Front Control Panel (UFCP), Multi-Function Displays (MFDs) and Hand On Throttle And Stick (HOTAS). The T-6B retains the low operating and maintenance costs from T-6A training system while delivering advanced concepts and skills so far only available through more expensive advanced trainers powered by turbofans.

jet trainer designed to fulfill the US Navy and USMC requirements for
intermediate and advanced training. It is a derivative of proven BAe
Systems Hawk trainer updated for carrier operations.
The T-45A trainer will replace the T-2 Buckeye and the TA-4 trainers with an integrated training system that includes the T-45A Goshawk aircraft, operations and instrument fighter simulators, academics, and training integration system. There are two T-45 models: the T-45A and T-45C aircraft. T-45A delivered in 1991 features analog cockpit, while T-45C delivered in 1997 has a new digital glass cockpit.
